This cleanser dispenses like shaving cream. It's a very effective cleanser, but not stripping or drying at least, not to my normal but acne-prone, relatively insensitive skin. It's fun to use. I am not sure about the exact pH but I suspect it's somewhat higher than 8.0. It's probably my favorite cleanser ever. For the equivalent of $1.50 usd at my local Watsons for a pack of seven, these are seriously high quality makeup wipes for the price. They don't dry out my skin, they remove waterproof mascara without stinging my eyes, and they're packaged with a plastic lid that keeps the wipes nice and moist whenever you need them. There is a very slight scent which is pleasant but does not linger on the skin, and the ample-sized wipes are packed with micellar water - enough to do a sufficient cleanse if you're wearing light makeup. The sheet is pretty soft on the skin, but quite durable, and strong enough to remove long wear eye/lip makeup. It's not going to be as quick as using an oil-based makeup remover, but it's fine as long as you're not aggressively tugging your skin. Are these an acceptable substitute for a proper cleanse? Absolutely not. But they are fine for days where you're too sleepy to do your usual skincare routine and just need to quickly take off your makeup before heading to bed. I find these pretty moisturizing after I'm finished with them. I think these would be nice for traveling as well, although I still would prefer to use a cleanser even if I'm on the go. Overall, these are good quality wipes that are a cut above your average makeup remover wipes. If you can find them for cheap, I recommend them, but for general makeup/sunscreen removal, I still suggest double cleansing with an oil cleanser and a foaming wash afterwards - especially if you have oily skin!
