I learnt quite a lot from Dr. Clemen. I am a complete newbie, and this is like a crash course; quite intense. There is a lot of fundamental knowledge which I didn't have, so I was struggling quite a bit. But the overall concept I can follow.

It will be good to have some kind of foundation materials for complete newbies like me, who has never traded before, and don't even know how to read a candle chart or create a stock brokerage account. It doesn't have to be Dr. Clemen teaching these things live; it can be a recorded video, or just links to certain videos we can watch on YouTube.

Although I appreciate that it is the student's responsibility to go and acquire these knowledge before the class, there are challenges with this.

First, we don't know what we don't know and what to learn before the class. A description of "what we need to know" or pointers to some reference materials will be helpful here.

Second, there is not enough time. I didn't even have enough time to set up my IBKR account and get it funded. It takes time, at least a few days to create the account and figure out how to get it funded.

I had some questions too which took time to figure out, e.g. "what kind of account to create?", "if I say I have zero experience, will IBKR allow me to trade options?", "what to do if I am not allowed to trade options?" etc.

I sent a question about what to prepare before the class to your support team (because I am not sure whether we are really going to do trading in the class; and what to prepare). The answer I got back was "Everything will be discussed in the class and all you need to prepare is your device to use in class." Which is not true. I didn't have my IBKR account ready and I didn't manage to trade in the class, which diminishes the learning experience.

In summary, I appreciate Dr. Clemen's enthusiasm and wisdom and the 100% he put in. It's perfect for those who have done some trading before.
However, for complete newbies who need more support, it is hard to keep up. Nevertheless, the concepts and ideas taught in the class by Dr. Clemen is first rate; no doubt about it.
