This shampoo is quite drying to my hair. Doesn't condition much. Try the color shampoos by Aveda (clove, black malva etc, they're better)
The key here is combination skin, which I have. It isn't too matte for my dry areas (cheeks and forehead) and it lasts for my oily areas (nose and chin). Some of the negative reviews really surprise...
