CozyCot publishes beauty information to help real shoppers decide—not to replace their judgment. This policy explains how we create and maintain that content.

Independence

Brands cannot pay for higher review scores, ranking placement, or award wins. Commercial relationships (including affiliate links) are disclosed and kept separate from rating algorithms and editorial screening.

Sources of information

Review standards

We encourage specific, experience-based reviews: who the product worked for, how it performed over time, and whether the reviewer would repurchase. We remove spam, duplicate accounts, incentivized fake reviews, and content that violates our terms.

Awards methodology

CozyCot Beauty Awards combine multiple signals—editorial fit for the category, review volume and quality, community demand, ingredient or formula credibility where relevant, and availability for shoppers. No single metric guarantees a win. Final lists are curated by editors with documented criteria published on award pages.

Updates & corrections

Beauty products change (reformulations, shade renames, discontinued lines). We update pages when we receive verified information. If you believe something is inaccurate, email [email protected] with the product URL and source. Material corrections are noted on the page when appropriate.

Affiliate & advertising

Shopping links may earn commission. Advertising (including Google AdSense when enabled) is labeled and must not exceed useful page content. See our affiliate disclosure and privacy policy.

Conflicts of interest

Staff and contracted editors disclose brand employment, consulting, or gifted product relationships that could affect coverage. Gifted products are reviewed with the same community standards; payment for a positive review is prohibited.
